سوگندنامه مهندسی

در مقام یک مهندس سوگند یاد می کنم که دانش و توانایی خود را در راه بهبود زندگی بشری مصرف داشته و در این راه مقدس سستی و رخوت در من راه نیابد.
سوگند یاد می کنم .
که از علم خویش جز در راه مشروع و شرافتمندانه استفاده ننموده، زندگی و پیشه خود را با قوانین عالی بشریت منطبق سازم.
سوگند یاد می کنم که خدمت را بر درآمد، افتخار و آبروی حرفه ام را بر نفع شخصی ارجح داشته و منافع مردم را برتر از همه تمایلات خویش قرار دهم.
با تواضع و خشوع، از خداوند مهربان برای انجام تعهدات اخلاقی ام توفیق خواسته و با ایمان به آنها به شرافتم سوگند یاد می کنم.

As an Engineer , I dedicate my professional Knowledge and skill to advancement and betterment of human welfare.
I pledge:
To give the utmost of performance;
To participate in none but honest enterprise;
To live and work according to the laws of man and the highest standards of professional conduct;
To place service before profit, the honor and standing of the profession before personal advantage, and the public welfare all other considerations;
Above in humility and with need for Divine Guidance, I make this pledge.
